My baby is 15wks old and her stool changed to yellowish green and some times mostly green wht could the cause.?
She stools more frequently now. your response is appreciated
If she's breastfed she's not getting enough hindmilk, the fatty milk that comes after the foremilk. Nurse longer on each side before switching or return to the side nursed last.
The green is from bile, which means she's not getting enough fat since bile, which is made from hemoglobin from old red blood cells, is used to aid in the absorption of fat in the diet. Without bile salts we wouldn't be able to absorb fat, but without fat it just gets excreted.
