Best treatment for teeth that have lost all the enamel-lm considering Lumineers but will cost $20G?
My enamel has worn off and left my teeth yellow and wearing away. I heard conventional whitening will not help. Lumineers are relatively new & the best part is that you don't have to have your teeth drilled down like veneers. Does anyone have any experience with this?
My first question is- what caused the wear and enamel loss in the first place?? Are you grinding? Do you have a true dental ailment that affected the formation of the enamel in the first place? ( Enamogenesis imperfecta, etc? ) If grinding is the cause, then you'll grind and wear the Lumineers, too. You need to see a good dentist to investigate the cause of the problem before trying to cover it up. Then he/she can help you find the proper "fix" for you. Good luck.
