What is better for precalculus and trig a Ti 89 Titanium or Ti 84 plus silver edition?
I need to know which one is optimal to use for precalculus and trig, and whether the one you prefer would be good enough for calculus as well.
Go for the TI 84. The 89 is MUCH harder to learn to use. The 84 is specifically designed to help learn precalc, trig, and calculus. And it's cheaper. And since the 89 will actually DO the calculus, most calc teachers won't let you use it on tests, but they will let you use the 84.
