Please tell me if this limerick makes sense?
There once was a young man from Spain
Who thought he was going insane
He ran round in ovals
And then hit the locales
Then he would drink more champagne.
If it funny and does it make sense?
Does it follow all the rules of a limerick?

The last three lines are not the right rhythm. Check this link. It shows how easy it is to write a limerick and it shows the correct rhythm.
