What color should I paint my kitchen?
Color paint for kitchen? Counters greyish blue (speckled) laminate and the floors are greyish/white vinyl. Cabinets are golden wood. The color scheme consists of dark blue and olive green. Any suggestions? I'm between peach, rich red, pale blue, and medium/sage green. The cabinet fixtures are chrome and appliances are white. There is a lot of natural sunlight and it is a fairly big kitchen. It is off our living room which is going to be a deep brownish (with red/orange undertones).
If I did paint it blue I'm afraid of it being too blah. What shade of blue should I choose?
My leaning would be towards the green family and would go lovely with a nut brown sort of color. One way i have seen this done is to choose natural items that are pleasing to your eye when put together.Such as a dish of cloves, next to oranges..find food and decorative items that you like the color of as well as that are the color of the adjacent room and you may find a pleasant color that way,Plus many paint stores will sell you mini bottles of paint to try on the wall, and this way you will see how the color wikll look on your walls .
