Is it possible to loose a tampon string inside of you?
Ever since iv'e started swimming in the crimson ocean (i.e. started my period) ive been using pads. I'm hesitant to use tampons due to fear of losing the string inside of me. I know this sounds graphic, but i really need an answer.
im sure your thinking the same thing i did when i first got my period.....the answer is no....your vagina is not this never ending hole inside you...things cant get lost up there
now things can go in farther then you would actually like, like a tampon or the string, and you may not feel it at first
but if you squat in the tub and feel around in there you will in fact find the tampon and under normal circumstances you will be able to remove it on your own
if you just started your period i would recommend not using a heavy flow tampon though at first because the dryer the tampon the harder it is to remove....so start with lights or regulars until your flow itself becomes regular.....once you become a pro at tampons...i would even try something like a Diva cup...it sounds gross but its actually not that bad...ive been using mine for 4 years now
