How loose should your engagement ring be?
I just got my ring sized to a 5. The sample ring I tried fit perfectly, but my real ring still feels pretty loose. It still comes over my knuckle a little too easily. I think a 4 would be too small, do they size rings in between sizes?
I also don't know how much bigger my fingers will get with age, so maybe I should leave it a bit loose?

well here's the thing everyones comfort is different and also your ring size can constantly change everytime the weather changes up to a 1/2 size difference. when your body is warmer or you eat salty foods your body retains more water therefore causes your body to bloat so your fingers get swollen. that happens to everyone by the way not only women... and when your body gets cold your fingers get smaller or shrink so to say, so some days your ring will fit loose and some days your rings fits tight. now ideally the way your ring should fit is there should be snug over your knuckle and should not come off to easily when your hands are dry (not lotioned) it's totally normal for your rings to turn where they sit at the end because your engagement rings are top heavy therefore gravity causes them to slide pointing down, mine does that all the time but you get use to it. your rings should not come off easily when your hands are wet for example when your doing dishes or taking a shower, regardless there should always be friction when taking off a ring. over time your finger starts adjusting to the shape or form of your ring but no worries that's normal nor should you change your size unless your ring is either too big where it comes off so easily without force or it's too tight that it's uncomfortable. the only time your ring size changes is either you gaining or losing weight.
