how can I stop my boarder collie / lab mix to stop running off if loose?
He's a great dog. know dozens of tricks...geat dog in the house, well trained on a leash...but if he gets loose....off light lightening!! can only catch him with a bribe of a car ride...
Some breeds are more prone to being runners, I'm pretty sure the lab is not but I don't know about a boarder collie. Shepards and huskies are some breeds that are prone to being runners. I don't know how to prevent those tendencies, but the invisable fence is somethign you can put on your property and that gives them like a shock if they try to leave the yard.
