My brother washed my car with the rough part of a sponge. The color is alot lighter and there are scratches.?
What product do you recommend to make the paint look like the rest of the car.. The paint is lighter from the scrubing of the sponge. Please help, I love this car, and I don't want to take it to a autobody..

Do not use rubbing compound.
Even the mildest rubbing compound is too abrasive for a base coat clear coat paint.
what you want to do is buff entire car with a scratch & swirl remover . Then apply a good paint protectant.
you could use a generic wax but if it were me I'd apply a Polymer paint sealant, not only does it have the same characteristics as wax, but it lasts longer and offer more paint protection than conventional wax.
And clay is only good for tar & bug removal , If used properly.
