What is an average engagement ring size?
My fiance just proposed to me about a month ago and I was soooo exited and I loved my ring. Its a Princess Cut 3/4 center stone with 3/4 princess cut stones/baguettes on each side totaling 21/4 carats with all white gold. I think its beautiful but everyone I show doesn't seem as exited as I am. They look at it like any old average ring. Is it small, average, what is average, helpppp. I am not being materialistic I just am wondering whats average. A lot of my friends have 1.5 center stones plus diamonds on the side...so they look at my ring like its small but I think its beautiful and a good size. Are they showing off by not giving my ring justice, or is my ring smaller than average. P.S. i love my man and ring regardless....i'm just wondering what's normal
I don't think there is a normal size. Everyone is different. Mine is only a .52 center... I don't even know what the sides are. I love my ring. Maybe they don't act excited because it is not their ring. I don't think that anyone's ring is as beautiful as mine. And if they were not surprised by the engagement then it might not be natural for them to act excited. I am sure your ring is the most beautiful ring in the world to you and that is all that matters. Have fun, stare at it all the time. Show it off. That's what I do! Congrats!
